Day 53 - Secret Beach

Wheee - this is way too much fun for dogs.

Our secret beach is a hike from the nearest parking lot - but of course, there are many things to do along the way.

This stretch of sand is perfect for Bowling for Shelties.

Finally, Secret Beach comes over the horizon. For some reason, very few people cross that last stream.

The World-Famous Foot of Godzilla.

Newest fashion trend - the barnacle bating cap.

There is a lifetime of beauty in a single rock - Eisner said it - but likely a buddist monk said it before him. There would be many lifetimes here.

I'm ready - what's the hold up?

Even at low tide, waves crash over the barrier reef.

Inter tidal behaviour.

It is confirmed - dogs and humans really can communicate. No we don't need a juried study.

The lengths we go to for beach access.

If it was mine - I'd be a tad worried about it's longevity.

Who says dogs can't make art? No Emma is not responsible for this one.

This can't be November.

Even the sand looks like gold leaf.

Dog trails. But not our dog.

The annual American family Thanksgiving weekend beach stroll. We can certainly give thanks for this incredible sunny late fall day.
